Mark Molden
Appointed as Chief Executive in January 2013, Mark brings to Marriage Care a wealth of experience from the commercial, public and voluntary sectors, having worked extensively in the education, social care, family and relationship support arenas. The value and significance of healthy relationships has been a consistent theme in Mark’s work and he is passionate about helping to build healthy, lasting couple relationships.
Mark joined Marriage Care from Care for the Family, one of the largest family charities in the UK, where, as Chief Executive, he was instrumental in launching the Home for Good adoption and fostering initiative. Prior to that he was the strategic lead for access to education and innovation at Bristol City Council and also worked for Barnardo’s, providing business support for the Sure Start and Children’s Fund programmes. In 2007 Mark was appointed as a trustee, and latterly Chair, of the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners.
Mark is married and has six children. He divides his time between his home in Norfolk and his work across England, Wales and Gibraltar.
